Advancing sustainability performance and transparency, Exyte publishes its ESG Report 2025
Exyte, a global leader in the design, engineering, and delivery of high-tech facilities, has published its second voluntary Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report. The ESG Report 2025 provides stakeholders with an update on the company’s sustainability performance and highlights further progress in integrating sustainability into its business strategy and operations.
Further progress in sustainability performance
Among the key developments highlighted in the ESG Report 2025 is an 18 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared with the previous year. The report also outlines progress in areas including climate action, resource efficiency, employee development, social responsibility, and ethical business conduct, as well as examples of how sustainability considerations are being integrated into the design and delivery of high-tech facilities.
In 2025, Exyte also achieved its first EcoVadis Bronze Medal, marking another milestone in the company’s sustainability journey. The rating placed Exyte in the 79th percentile globally and among the top 35 percent of organizations assessed by EcoVadis worldwide. The recognition reflects improvements in Exyte’s sustainability management and disclosures, including stronger ESG governance and continued development of the company’s sustainability practices.
“With our first voluntary ESG report last year, we laid the foundation for transparent and credible ESG disclosures," says Exyte CEO and CFO, Peter Schönhofer. "With this 2025 ESG report, we continue that dialogue and present our latest ESG performance. For Exyte, ESG has become a business-relevant capability, helping us meet rising client expectations, strengthen project execution, manage risks, and create value beyond compliance."
Strengthening transparency and accountability
Sustainability is embedded in Exyte’s vision and values and reflected in the company’s Core Competency “Fostering Sustainability.” Annual ESG reporting provides stakeholders with greater transparency on Exyte’s performance while strengthening governance, accountability, and data quality across the organization.
The ESG Report 2025 also responds to growing demand for sustainability-related information from clients, financial institutions, rating agencies, and other business partners. ESG performance and disclosures are becoming increasingly relevant to areas including client qualifications, supplier pre-qualification processes, financing activities, and external sustainability assessments.
“ESG reporting creates transparency around our performance and helps establish clear accountability for the topics that matter most to Exyte and its stakeholders,” says Dr. Jochen Oelert, Senior Vice President Corporate Strategy, M&A and ESG. “It also enables us to continuously strengthen our sustainability approach and prepare for evolving reporting requirements.”
Preparing for future reporting requirements
Exyte continues to develop its ESG governance, data, and reporting processes in preparation for future regulatory requirements. By reporting voluntarily, the company is building experience and strengthening the processes needed to respond to evolving sustainability disclosure requirements.
