Exyte APAC Life Sciences Seminars

More than 150 executives from the Life Sciences industry attended the Exyte Exchange Executive Series held between 8 and 12 April 2019 across the APAC region. The regional seminars kicked off in Shanghai, followed by Ho Chi Minh City and concluded in Singapore.  A good mix of internal as well as external speakers presented on topics including industry trends, GMP compliance, cyber security and modular facilities. 

Pharmaceutical and biotech companies are constantly driven by the need to reduce cost-of-goods and time-to-market, while maintaining the flexibility needed to support future production. Innovations utilizing modular and pre-engineered components aim to simplify and accelerate the facility delivery process.

The Exyte APAC team organized the regional customer seminars as a platform for sharing industry trends, knowledge and ideas, as well as to present Exyte as a reliable partner for the development of their future facilities. A total of 150 industry representatives from international and domestic companies attended the three seminars.

An impressive international panel of presenters made up of various subject matter experts was lined up for the seminars. Representatives from a consulting partner presented a general outlook on the life sciences market in the APAC region, while Holger Mettler, Head of Computer System Validation & Cyber Security, addressed the importance of data integrity, cyber security and GMP compliance associated with the digitalization of future facilities. Peter Cramer’s, VP of Life Science Facility Design, presentation on modular facilities and platform design attracted keen interest from potential clients looking for scalable solutions and faster project delivery to meet their time-to-market challenges.
