Exyte Rising Star

Jeff Pries from Exyte in the Americas received ASHRAE’s Rising Star Award which recognizes “An industry professional that has shown exemplary aptitude, growth, and potential in mechanical engineering.”

Jeff currently works Phoenix Mechanical Platform Lead at Exyte US with ten years of service at Exyte. His comment to the recent Award:

“I’ve been very fortunate to work on a variety of projects and with different clients while I’ve been with Exyte. I’ve tried my best to fill whatever role could provide the most value to the project. Because of that, I’ve been given a lot of opportunities to learn new things and work with a large group of people. There have always been people to reach out to for support and mentoring and that has helped me tremendously. Every day I work with a talented group of people who I depend on to be successful, so I try my hardest to make sure I measure up to their expectations.

“What I valued most in Exyte is The People. There are so many great and talented people at Exyte. Every project has its own difficulties and stresses, but even bad projects have been made better by a great team. I’ve been especially lucky to work with a great group of people within the mechanical discipline. They also make work a lot of fun!”

“I’m very honored by the recognition, but there’s no way I would have even been considered for this award if it weren’t for a great group of people supporting me along the way. I’ve had great mentors and teachers at Exyte and a wonderful group of colleagues who push me to do well. A special thanks has to go out to Elise Backstrom for orchestrating my nomination and her efforts to get Exyte more involved in ASHRAE events.”
