Exyte GmbH changes its board structure in line with accelerated growth path, the “Pathway to Ten”

Dr. Wolfgang Büchele, Chief Executive Officer of Exyte will, in addition to his current role, assume responsibility for the Segments Advanced Technology Facilities (ATF) and Biopharma and Life Sciences (BLS) at the Board level. He will also be responsible for the Region Asia, which comprises the Regional Areas Northeast Asia (NEA) and Southeast Asia (SEA). In addition, the Business Area Technology and Services (T&S), the fourth strategic unit of Exyte, will report to him.  

Peter Schönhofer, Chief Financial Officer of Exyte, will, in addition to his current role, assume the responsibility for the Segment Data Centers (DTC) at the Board level. He will also be responsible for the Regions Europe, which comprise the Regional Areas Continental Europe (COE) and Northern Europe & Israel (NEI), and the US (Regional Area USA). 

Following this decision on a new extended Board structure, the additional Board Members will be appointed in the course of 2022 and 2023 to assume the respective additional responsibilities from Dr. Wolfgang Büchele and Peter Schönhofer.

The Supervisory Board and Roberto Penno have agreed that he will be released from his duties as Chief Operating Officer of Exyte to pursue other opportunities outside of the company. “I would like to thank Roberto Penno for his excellent contribution to the development of Exyte over the last five years,” says Georg Stumpf. “We wish Roberto Penno all the best for his future endeavors.”
