"We celebrate inclusion and diversity"- Exyte signs "Charta der Vielfalt"
For Exyte, diversity is a key requirement for business success. The corporate value "Collaboration" is actively lived worldwide. The value reads: “We celebrate inclusion and diversity. We combine expertise by building solution-oriented teams and value both individual and team contributions.” In Germany, Exyte has now signed the German “Charta der Vielfalt” (Diversity Charter). The signatories to the charter commit to promoting more diversity in the world of work.
“Exyte signed the "Charta der Vielfalt" – with this, we only emphasize externally what has long been true for us internally: as a globally operating company, diversity has long been a daily practice at Exyte”, says Exyte CEO Dr. Wolfgang Büchele.
At the company’s locations and in its projects around the world, employees from over 70 nations successfully work together in mixed teams – embracing ethnic, cultural, and religious diversity. Büchele adds: “In the coming years, we want to make Exyte an even better, even more successful company. To take Exyte to the next level, diversity is more than ever a key factor for our success.”
Recognition, appreciation and inclusion
The “Charta der Vielfalt” is an employer initiative launched in 2006 to promote diversity in companies and institutions. The aim of the initiative is to promote the recognition, appreciation and inclusion of diversity in the working world in Germany. Almost 5,000 companies have now signed the charter. By signing the “Charta der Vielfalt”, Exyte declares that all employees should be valued regardless of age, ethnic origin and nationality, gender and gender identity, physical and mental abilities, religion and belief, sexual orientation and social background.
Exyte has always been committed to diversity and open, respectful interaction with each other in its mixed teams of young talents, experienced professionals, and people of different origins, genders, and religions. “This diversity is what makes the company so successful – and working for Exyte so enriching”, says Exyte CHRO Alexandra Kuebler. As diverse as the tasks at Exyte are, as diverse is the workforce. “If you want to work for exciting, international projects in an inspiring work environment, Exyte is the right place”, Kuebler adds.
The advantages of diversity for companies are numerous. Studies show that mixed teams achieve better results and companies are more successful. Diversity is also key when it comes to recruiting new employees and retaining existing employees. A key aspect of diversity is breaking down prejudices and stereotypes. Diversity is therefore a way of thinking that must be practiced by all employees in a company.
